A priority switch has the highest priority in the smoke and heat extraction system. This switch is not provided as standard with the Skycom CE Master control unit and is sometimes additionally provided for the fire brigade.
Specifications and documentsA tool for firefighters
If, for any reason, the Skycom CE central control unit cannot be located near the entrance door (the firefighters’ access route) to the building, this switch should be provided. The presence of a priority switch at the entrance door allows the fire brigade to easily operate the SHEV system.
In such a case, the Skycom CE control unit might for example be installed in the technical space or further inside the building.
